University of Montevallo
Alpha Delta Pi is proud to be the first secret society exclusively for women. Founded on May 15, 1851, at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia, our sorority is rich with tradition and sisterhood. Alpha Delta Pi sisters strive for excellence in philanthropy, academic performance, and campus leadership. In keeping with our motto, We Live for Each Other, our members have found a place for support, shared values, and personal development. Opportunities abound for the sisters of Alpha Delta Pi, and we look forward to sharing them with you.
The Zeta Delta chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was founded at the University of Montevallo in December 1972, and our chapter room is located on campus in Main Hall.
Members of our chapter pride themselves on being extremely involved on campus through several other organizations such as College Night, ASL Club, Crocs Club, Baptist Campus Ministries, Spectrum, and Montevallo Honors Organization, to name a few.
We host a number of social events including: a formal in the spring, a semi-formal in the fall, mixers with both fraternities and sororities, sisterhoods, and philanthropic events to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama.
In addition to having fun, we also take our studies seriously and have sisters on both the President’s and Dean’s Lists.
We are dedicated to living out our motto “We Live for Each Other” by supporting our sisters and celebrating their accomplishments.
